Expressing Your Gratitude to Your Child's Teacher
It is that time of year when we (parents of kiddos with amazing teachers or staff members at school) start to think about a way to express our gratitude to the teachers we admire.
Teachers do not expect gifts during the holidays nor should families be expected to give but if you are so inclined, I have some ideas for you!
Handwritten notes. We (teachers) love them! Especially when the child we teach has a hand in its crafting.
Art. Art that our students make is precious and we cherish it!
Live Plants: We can share them in the classroom with the children all year.
Chocolate: Need I say more? :)
Coffee/Tea: Always lovely to have handy for chilly winter school mornings.
Blank Journals: We use these a lot! Here is one that is really cute to record the sweet things the children say: Witty, Brilliant & Wise a Journal of Student Quotes
I do have an exciting announcement! On January 6th, Montessori Mentor On Demand for the 3-6 Practioner is launching! I have partnered with Rising Tide Montessori to create the first-ever Montessori subscription mentorship program!
Affordable, accessible, judgment-free, and designed in a way that you can do it on your own time. Each month, new topics will be released with bite-sized videos, theory refreshers, guided deep self-reflection, and support for planning and implementing changes.
